Abstract

We demonstrated ultra-flat optical frequency comb generation only using a set of conventional Mach-Zehnder modulator asymmetrically dual-driven by large-amplitude sinusoidal signals with different amplitudes. 19-channel 10-GHz-spaced frequency comb with <4.6-dB spectral ripple was experimentally generated.
