Abstract

Presented in this paper are the 64 kb/s series audio-graphics teleconferencing system design concept, experimental system configuration and some experimental results. The 64 kb/s series audio-graphics teleconferencing system promises to provide a wide variety of such multimedia teleconferencing services as audio-telewriting, audio-still-picture and audio-document over the 64kb/s digital communications network. It also provides multipoint teleconferencing as well as point-to-point teleconferencing using multipoint connection network facilities. The design concept of this system and the outline of an experimental system are described and discussed focusing multipoint connection control technique in particular.
