Abstract
This paper presents a simulation study on the nodal price allocation model, where the nodal price is obtained using the information from the stability controller system, and on its effect on the power system stability improvement. To evaluate the transient stability under the n-1 security criterion, the value of acceleration energy unbalance is used. First of all, the required adjustment of generator's active power is calculated to reduce the acceleration energy unbalance in the power system. Then the nodal prices for each node to give incentives for the required generation rescheduling are obtained from the incremental transmission access cost that is a function of the incremental active power output. In this paper, it is assumed that the generation rescheduling is performed in the spot market based on a Pool Model.
