A Method to Design the Controller of the Voltage Phase Angle Type Torque Feed-back Control System for PMSM

    Abstract

    A method to design the torque feed-back controller of the voltage phase angle type is proposed in this paper. In the previous research, a method to design the torque feed-back controller is proposed, and accurate torque control performance in high speed range has been confirmed in experiment. On the other hand, the effect of approximation in the designing process of the controller has not been verified. In designing controller, two kinds of approximations were carried out. One is an effect of linearization. The other is an effect of feed-forward controller. A new gain design method is proposed using the bode diagram. And the design method is verified by the experimental system with 1-kWIPMSM.
