Abstract

Tasbacka ouledabdounensis n. sp. (Testudines: Cryptodira : Cheloniidae) is described on the basis of skulls and lower jaws from the Late Paleocene of the Ouled Abdoun Basin, Morocco. The discovery of Tasbucka in Morocco suggests a wide geographical distribution of this genus in the Late Paleocene.
