Abstract

This paper proposes three action strategies for remote operation of mobile robot in human coexistence environment as an application of network robotics towards human coexistence robot. Navigation of mobile robots from remote site only in picture information is very difficult. To realize a human coexistence type robot is a challenging subject. So we proposes (1) the combination control method with remote operation and autonomous motion with priority on the remote operation, (2) the method of extending the task-based data exchange which we have been proposed, and (3) the method of sharing information between coexisting human and mobile robot by preliminary announcement display of action intention of mobile robot.
