Abstract
Air-conditioner is going to be set up in public elementary schools. The combination use of airconditioner and window, thermal environment and consistency of CO2 in classroom were investigated by field survey. Particularly in winter, it was found that the windows were closed when air-conditioner is running. While the air-conditioner is running, consistency of CO2 in classroom was over 1500ppm, air temperature in classroom was almost in range of 18-28° C. In winter, relative humidity sometimes less than 30%, that is the problem. Questionnaire survey for students and teachers was carried out. According to questionnaire survey for students, it was found that almost students feel "hot" in summer although cooling is running. By questionnaire survey for teachers, it was found that preset temperature of heating was found to be high, 23° C, and amount of clothing and students plays outdoor were decrease.
