Abstract

It is important to get relay nodes in order to deploy telecommunication services using ad hoc networks. One method is to pay relay rewards to relay nodes, while the rewards work as an incentive to relay. This paper proposes a business model of an ad hoc network. Then, the routing algorithm for ad hoc network service based on relay rewards is used, and the results of a computer simulation comparing the performance of two routing algorithms are shown. One algorithm determines the route while confirming relay rewards, hop-by-hop WTR routing. Another algorithm confirms relay rewards after determining the route, AODV+WTR routing. It is shown that the route establishment probability of the hop-by-hop WTR routing is better than that of the AODV+WTR routing.
