Abstract

This paper describes an adaptive forward subchannel control scheme of the OFDM mobile communication system. The transmission channel conditions are estimated using the MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) method and the proposed adaptive estimator. The simulation results clarified that the forward subchannel control scheme improved the 4.5 dB of Eb/N0, which aided in more effectively obtaining the 10-2 of the BER (Bit Error Rate).
