Abstract

The controlled synthesis of block, graft, ionomeric and segmented multiphase copolymers is an area of great academic and industrial interest. Research has been conducted in our laboratories via 'living' anionic, cationic, group transfer and ring opening methods. Functionalized oligomers have also been synthesized by living and cyclic equilibration techniques. The systems investigated have included hydrocarbon monomers, alkyl vinyl ethers, methacrylates, siloxanes, and alkylene oxides.
