Abstract

In this paper, the hydrogen producing bacteria were immobilized in agar acetylcellulose filters and continuous hydrogen production from wastewaters with a continuous stirred reactor was performed. A methanogenic microbial population was immobilized in agar gel. Continual methane production from waste waters was attempted in a batch system.
