Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increasing focus on office wellness initiatives aimed at improving the comfort, health, and workplace productivity of office workers. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted in 31 offices to clarify the impact of differences in building wellness performance on the indoor environmental satisfaction of office workers and the issues that should be addressed to improve their overall indoor environmental satisfaction. As the wellness performance of the office increased, the satisfaction of office workers with the indoor environment increased. It was determined that thermal comfort should be improved to improve the overall indoor environmental satisfaction of office workers regardless of the wellness performance of the building. Additionally, in offices with high wellness performance, the workplace productivity of workers with high work engagement can potentially be improved.
