Abstract
A study was performed on the cathodoluminescence (CL) and Hall-effect measurements in sulfur-doped chemical-vapor-deposited diamond. The free-exciton recombination radiation was observed clearly by CL measurements in spite of the high doping condition. It was found that the n-type conductivity of sulfur-doped diamond was caused by a sulfur-related mechanism.
