Characterization of 2D high-speed photodetector array device for SDM fiber communication applications

Abstract

We characterized high speed 2D-PDAs for SDM fiber communication applications. Crosstalk of -23-dB up to 40-GHz was successfully achieved with good uniformity of in-plane responsivity in the pixel, without degradation of the frequency response.
