Abstract

A new hole-transporting polyradical, poly(4-(N-t-butyl-N-oxyamino) triphenylamine-alt-5-hexyloxy-1,3-phenylenevinylene), was synthesized by Wittig reaction of 4-{N-i-butyl-N-(t-butyldimethylsilyl)oxy}amine-substituted bisformyltriphenylamine and l,3-bis{(triphenylphospho)methyl}benzene dibromide, followed by deprotection and oxidation. Electrochemical or magnetic measurements revealed the electronic structure and charge transporting property of the polyradical.
