Abstract
RAA (robot assisted activity) using robotic pet for pre-school and school aged child outpatient in waiting room at children's hospital was carried out in order to investigate the mood change during waiting for the exploration. Specific behaviors and responses co-occurrence stimuli initiated robotic pet were observed by time sampling method. Questionnaire was administered after RAA in order to assess mood of participant and evaluate robotic pet and RAA by their measures. It was found that most of child and their parent felt positive mood, and the positive mood correlation of between parent and child. In this paper, theoretical issues, RAA procedure, and outline of general results was described.
