Abstract
This research suggests a method of researching evolution of literary works based on figure-ground relationships. We constructed a lattice that shows a figure-ground relationship of the literary works using rough set theory and calculated "complementality" of this lattice. We construct genealogic trees from these values. These trees show order of publication times about literary works.
