Abstract

We discuss the use of multi-band OFDM for 120-Gb/s polarization division multiplexed orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PDM-OFDM). Compared to single-band OFDM we show that a significant reduction in required DAC/ADC bandwidth is obtained at comparable computational complexity. copyright (c) 2008 IEICE.
