Abstract

The concept of quasiparticle (representation particle) is a central issue when thermofield dynamics (TFD) for nonequilibrium systems of quantum fields is constructed. The development of nonequilibrium TFD, mainly done by the Alberta group, is reviewed from the viewpoint of the quasiparticle.
