Abstract

Agent platforms have recently attracted attention for use as a basis for self-* systems development because it provides a mechanism for autonomous functionalities. From among these platforms, JADE allows developers to describe concurrent behaviors on it, and this can be a foundation of constructing the multiprocesses on self-* systems. This paper shows an overview of our approach for implementing highly collaborative behaviors by introducing a component style behavior model and its life cycle on the basis of the agent platform.
