Abstract
Because of the errors introduced at the typesetting stage, the number and units of kinematic viscosity in Section 3.2 was altered to an obviously wrong form. We provide here Section 3.2 with the correct form of the number and units of kinematic viscosity, as they were in our original manuscript and source files. The rotation speed corresponds to a linear speed of 100 km/h at the undeformed tire periphery, and the corresponding tire rolling speed is U0 = 95.8 km/h. The rolling speed is obtained from the displacement rate of the material points in the contact area, extracted from the time-dependent tire deformation (see Sect. 3.4). The air density and kinematic viscosity are 1.205kg/m3 and 1.512×10-5m2/s. The original article has been corrected.
