Abstract

This report outlines a method for measuring gas streamline and gas velocity simultaneously with He gas tracer, using a lower shaft probe (at the level of 14. 2 m under the stock line) and upper shaft probe (at the level of 4. 5 m under the stock line) at Kimitsu No. 4 blast furnace. This method is called the double cutting off method.
