Abstract

We propose a visualization system named a dream board that is able to communicate with handwriting recognition in some various languages. The system shows a related image to share information after it recognizes a handwritten word. The Google image search[Inc. a] and Flickr[Inc. b] show images by keywords from web pages. Our approach is that the keyword for search is obtained by recognition result, and the searched images are shown on a whiteboard by a projector. The contributions are to reduce miscommunication, to learn second language for education, and to provide a platform of digital signage contents. The experiment is shown by a prototype system that provides images by different handwritten keywords. 2013 Copyright held by the Owner/Author.
