N2 - A hybrid compensation method for transmitter and receiver IQ imbalance in high capacity OFDM is investigated. Effectiveness is confirmed by simulation and a 16QAM 27.3-Gbit/s transmission experiment. After 320km SSMF, 3.5dB OSNR improvement is achieved.
