N2 - Basic results on electrical properties in a typical LCP (liquid crystal polymer) sample are presented. Results of measurements on DC conduction, thermally stimulated current (TSC), and current upon voltage reversal. The effects of bias temperature are considered. It is concluded that conduction at high temperatures is dominated by mobile ions in the bulk having a mobility of about 10-10 cm2/V-s.
