Abstract

The social Internet of Things (SIoT) brings unprecedented online and offline social experiences to people and is changing our social patterns. The social cloud has the potential to use social relationships to improve resource sharing in social networks. Both fields require more research to, for example, define a generic or unified supporting architecture that can bring various technologies together. These two paradigms are both related to social networks, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. Therefore, they could potentially support each other, and will likely merge in one way or another.
