Abstract

A fluorescence-amplified sensing system composed of a fluorophore-labeled adenosine DNA-aptamer/quencher-labeled capture DNA duplex, assistant DNA, and exonuclease III (Exo III) was designed and prepared. The newly constructed enzyme-assisted aptasensor exhibited amplification of fluorescent signal in response to adenosine (target) through an Exo III-assisted target recycling process.
