Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate wavelength conversions of 50-Gbps 36QAM and 60-Gbps 64QAM through four-wave mixing in highly-nonlinear fiber. Error free operations are successfully achieved for converted high-order QAMs with negligible power penalty at BER of 10-3.
