N2 - “Hiesyo” are people who feel cold throughout the year. Differences in peoples' constitution cannot be ignored in daily life, thus, considering cold sensitivity is necessary. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of a floor cooling and heating system on the physiological and psychological response of hiesyo people and investigate the conditions that are comfortable for one's constitution. Subjective experiments were conducted in 2014-2016. The results suggested that non-hiesyo people adapt to an environment by changing their blood flow, and hiesyo people cannot change their blood flow, thus, their skin temperature is affected by the surrounding environment. It was also suggested that for both constitutions, an environment in which the temperature is controlled by cold water and hot water is comfortable.
