note = "Funding Information: The first issue of the (JAR) was published in 2018, and JAR is now in its fifth year of publication, with over 200 papers published during the 4 years prior to the end of 2021, and in 2022, the number of papers was greater than ever. JAR has been growing steadily as an international journal in the fields of architecture, architectural design, and architectural engineering and has acquired international recognition. Furthermore, JAR signed a 5‐year publishing agreement with Wiley, a global publisher, at the time of its launch in 2018, and this year marks the final year of the agreement. The Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) and JAR have held discussions with Wiley and have signed a new publishing agreement for another 5 years, starting in January 2023. As before, JAR will continue to publish as an open access journal under Wiley, disseminating the latest research results on architecture and architectural engineering in Japan to the world. It will continue to receive the JSPS KAKENHI (Grant Number 22HP1001) for 5 years from 2022, and the APC will remain free of charge during the JSPS KAKENHI grant period. Japan Architectural Review ",
