    Abstract

We proposed optical label generation and processing based on LiNbO 3 (LN) modulators and variable bandwidth spectrum shaper (VBS), respectively. This method is capable of flexible optical encoding and decoding (en/decoding) and high precision control in spectrum domain. We confirmed correct discrimination between matched and unmatched code by threshold processing in simulation and experiment using 8 chip, 20 Gchip/s binary phase shift keying (BPSK) codes.
