Abstract
This paper proposes a new method to solve the transient stability problem. There are two approaches to transient stability analysis. One is to use a simple classic generator model and a constant impedance load model. The other is to use an exact generator model and an exact load model. The former is effective for screening purposes in power system planning and for on-line transient stability analysis in power system operation. This paper deals with the former approach.
