Abstract
We proposed and experimentally demonstrate a bidirectional orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing-radio-over-fiber (OFDM-ROF) system by using an optical phase modulator and a fiber Bragger gating (FBG) to generate millimeter-wave. The downstream date is 2.5-Gb/s OFDM signals and the downstream wavelength is reused without signal erasure.
