Abstract

We developed an InAlGaAs/InAlAs/InP semiconductor photonic spatial switch with a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) for optical packet switching. Low switching current of 3.5 mA was attained with low corsstalk of - 20dB and ns-order swtiching time.
