Abstract

Highlights Lithium-ion capacitors (LICs) composed of Sn-Ni alloy anodes are investigated. Vinylene carbonate improves the cycle durability of Sn-Ni alloy anodes for LIC. LIC with a high volumetric energy density of 38.9 Wh L−1 at 120 W/L is demonstrated.
