Abstract

Advanced hole-transporting triradical, 1,3,5-tris(4-methoxyphenyl-4'-tert- butyloxyaminophenyl)aminobenzene was synthesized by palladium-catalyzed coupling of N-(tert-butyl-N-triisopropylsilyloxy)amino-benzene and 1,3,5-tris(N-(4- methoxyphenyl)aminobenzene followed by deprotection and oxidation. Electrochemical and magnetic properties of the triradical were measured, and we also report the electronic structure and hole-transporting property.
