Horn-shaped multimode interference-based N×1 combiners

    Abstract

    We proposed a new structure of MMI-based N×1 combiners with more compact, lower insertion loss and no end reflection. Also, the position of self-images can be changed by adjusting the curvature of the MMI sides.
