Abstract

Novel sulfonated polyimide ionomer-containing aliphatic groups both in the main chain and in the side chains exhibit high proton conductivity of 0.2 S cm-1 at 140 °C without being hydrolyzed for more than several hundred hours under severe humidified conditions.
