Abstract

This paper describes a new vision image processing method by using an active sensing with fine camera motion. This algorithm obtains the hint from tremor. Tremor is one of human visual cognitive mechanism and active sensing. The algorithm can make resolution enhance more than a pixel. A photo diode is used as a visual sensor. It takes images, moving vertically and horizontally by stepping motors. Taken image data and movement data are processed by mathematical model for image restoration. As the result, resolution is enhanced more than a pixel. The mathematical model, the developed system configuration and experimental results by using the system are reported in this paper.
