N2 - In the Power Electronics Transformer (PET), the cascade H-Bridge inverter (CHB) must control not only the whole power flow but also DC-link voltage balance. The CHB is non-linear in terms of the current and voltage and a lower switching loss algorithm for a DC-link voltage balancing control is less controllability. In this paper, the control characteristics of CHB are evaluated and it is reveals its control performance in the lower power conditions by numerical simulation.
