Abstract

Tris(2-aminoethyl)amine-based urea and thiourea derivatives interacted with a superoxide anion (O2 -) and peroxide dianion (O 2 2-): The redox potential of oxygen was positively shifted with the molecules through their multiple-hydrogenbond donor ability.
