Abstract

Many medical images have been recorded by means of photographic materials such as Polaroid films. It would be beneficial if these images could be easily recorded on ordinary papers. To meet this demand, a compact laser-beam printer with the capability of half-tone image recording has been developed. Medical data sheets including characters and images can be directly produced by this printer. The image recorded by the printer shows good quality for the case of ultrasonic imaging and nuclear imaging.
