    Abstract

Topology optimization (TO) is an attractive design tools for electrical machinery. In particular, the level-set-based TO has been investigated enthusiastically. In this paper, a level-set-based topology optimization method supported by the method of moving asymptotes is proposed to realize fast convergence. The performance of the proposed method is verified in comparison with the conventional level-set-based method, which is composed of both gradient-based-correction and regularization.
