Abstract

In this paper, we discuss the inventory control subject to the lifetime of commodity. There are several factors, i.e., procurement lead time, selling prices, and issuing policies. If the procurement lead time is uncertained, the outdatings of the procured goods increases. If the lifetime of goods in the shelf are different, goods should be classified according to age. Depending on whether FIFO or LIFO issuing policies, the quantity of outdatings are different. And basically, these issuing policies stand upon different view point, i.e., suppliers' side and customers' side. From the above points of view, we construct and analyze the inventory model which considers two kinds of warehouses, i.e., own and rental warehouse.
