Abstract

This paper describes overview of linear cell radar systems consisting of many millimeter-wave radar units connected by radio-over-fiber links. The liner cell radar system can provide high-resolution imaging with linear shape coverage for airport runways, railway tracks or motorways. We review performance of linear cell radars and discuss issues of interference between radar units.
