Abstract
To design the optimum rain margin for the Hokkaido Integrated Telecommunications (HIT) network, propagation experiments were carried out. The 14/12 GHz band rain attenuation and site diversity (SD) characteristics were examined by using band rain attenuation and measuring system. Plural distance SD characteristics were newly obtained for the intervals of seven months.
