Abstract

We propose a new approach to build context-aware interactive applications. Our approach enables us to use existing GUI-based interactive applications although a variety of interaction devices can be used to control them. This means that we can adopt traditional GUI toolkits to build context-aware applications. The paper describes design and implementation of our middleware that enables existing applications to be context-aware, and presents some examples to show the effectiveness of our approach.
