Abstract

The frequency characteristics of ultrasonic attenuation (FCA) of scar tissue, protein fiber tissue, cotton thread tissue, and vegetable fiber tissue (luffa specimens) were measured by T—R technique.1) The FAC of the specimens used in this study is changed linearly with frequency except for those of the luffa specimens. It was found that the diameter of the single luffa fiber affects the frequency characteristics of ultrasonic attenuation.
