Measurement of vectorial response of IQ modulator using optical interference

    Abstract

    We propose a new measurement method of modulator response in phasor domain for Mach-Zehnder modulators embedded in IQ modulator using simple equipments. The modulation curve with extinction ratio of 14.7 and 22 dB were measured.
