Abstract

A mobile agent-based middleware was proposed for mobile terminals. The proposed middleware can additionally form ad hoc networks by downloading or uploading communication protocol MAs to mediate between mobile terminals. A mobile terminal connects to information appliances through a wireless network and controls them or distributes a part of the application process to other device. Since the communication protocol and data transferring agents are implemented separately, it is possible to flexible adapt to changes in the communication environment.
